After the Genocide was written by Dale L. Williams, M.D., founder of The Koinonia Foundation. It takes place during the Rwandan genocide while Williams was in the Mugunga refugee camp in Zaire (Congo). The novel has a mixture of sensuality, suspense, and action, telling the stories of Williams, Kolbeck, and refugees at that time struggling to survive in an unjust nation.
